Scott Blackledge - Seeking Salvation Through Love

Seeking Salvation Through Love is the solo project of Scott Blackledge, and is named after an interview between Russell Brand & Richard Dawkins.

Scott takes a number of influences from his eclectic musical tastes and merges them in the style of "Robbie Williams going to a musical about Coldplay with a good twist of Rock to dance to" and the result is a number of acoustic tracks seated comfortably alongside faster rock/dance tracks.

Scott has been a music fan for many years and embarked on the 'Salvation' project late 2008 after graduating from the Institute of Contemporary Music in London and playing with numerous bands.

Scott took the songs he liked to play and set about the recording process producing the self-released EP 'Songs for the Angels'. He admits that recording and playing the EP live taught him a great deal about music; lessons that have only seen him improve in his more recent work.

Now working on a variety of new tracks, including the upbeat Rock/Dance track 'Superstar' (featured in MusicWeek Magazine) as well as more of the acoustic ballads his fan base has come to know and love, he intends to put the songs in front of established acts looking for material to record, or alternatively get the finished project released by a major label in 2011.
